This Bible study is timely for us today. False teachers had infiltrated the churches in Galatia, attacking Paul's authority as well as the gospel he preached. So, Paul wrote a letter not only as a defense of his authority as an apostle, but also insisting that God's grace cannot be earned, regardless of how many commandments we try to obey. Only our faith in Jesus provides the way to eternal life.
