Nourish uses a small group format with a book/study selection that doesn’t require a lot of time to read, but really gets you to look at yourself and the Bible in new and Christ affirming ways. No videos, just plenty of discussion and sharing as we get to know each other and God’s will for our lives.
Bad Girls of the Bible and What We Can Learn from Them by Liz Curtis Higgs
Join us for a lively time of discussion and sharing as we discover the truth of God’s goodness from the Bible’s bad girls. We'll look at women like Jezebel and Delilah and see how their situations translate to our lives today. The book combines a contemporary retelling of the stories of these femme fatales with a solid biblical study to teach us how to avoid their tragic mistakes and joyfully embrace God’s compassion, unconditional love, mercy and grace.
