21“Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe Me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
You are full of grace and truth. You are the exact radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being – full of lovingkindness, grace, mercy, and longsuffering. Thank You for sustaining us daily with Your strong and mighty hand.
Heavenly Father, we come to worship You this day for the gift of Your Son – the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Lord Jesus, You are worthy of all our praise and adoration. From You are all things and to You are all things. Holy Spirit, compose a new song on our hearts today that we might rise above our circumstances and the chaos of the culture to give You glory and honor and praise.
Teach us as a church to worship You in the beauty of holiness, in Spirit and Truth.
In the name of the One who deserves all the glory. Amen.
